My First Workbench

Inspired by Getting Started in Woodworking, I built this bench. I mixed ideas from two plans and came up with this design. Far from perfect but at least I got started. I´ve had if for about a month now. It´s worked for me so I don´t think I will change it. I´ll build a better one some time.

Tools used: Hand powered miter saw, electric drill, drill press (I got one after I messed up some of the M&T joints with my electric drill and chisels), chisels, mallet, screwdrivers, wrench, pliers, no 5 plane, block plane and clamps.

Built from construction grade lumber. Finished with two coats of boiled linseed oil.

It was nice of you to share this workbench which you have built inspired by the woodworking site. I have also gone through the tools that you had while building this beautiful workbench which is shown in the image.

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?caravan valuations

I think the key here is the drill press. Very hard to make good holes with a handheld. You need the stability of the dp. Love to see a video view
